CPR in Action | A 3D look inside the body

This 3D animation was designed to share life-saving information with the general public to demonstrate the importance of good, effective CPR! Effective compressions create an artificial pump and send oxygenated blood to the brain to keep the brain alive. CPR also keeps blood and oxygen moving through the heart muscle itself so that it has the best chance of being successfully defibrillated when the AED arrives. After a Sudden Cardiac Arrest, brain damage will start to set in within 4 minutes and is irreversible after 10 minutes. CPR is the person’s only chance of survival while waiting for an automated external defibrillator to arrive. Action First Aid is committed to widespread access, awareness and public education about when and how to use an AED and perform effective CPR. Please share this video with all of your loved ones and friends as together we truly have the power to save more lives! Learn more at 🤍 © 2022 Action First Aid Inc., All Rights Reserved

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, is a lifesaving technique useful in many medical emergencies, including a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. The American Heart Association recommends that everyone — untrained bystanders and medical personnel alike — begin CPR with chest compressions. For the general public or bystanders who witness an adult suddenly collapse: compression-only CPR, or Hands-Only CPR. Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an out-of-hospital setting (such as at home, at work, or in a park). For healthcare providers and those trained: conventional CPR using chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth breathing at a ratio of 30:2 compressions-to-breaths. In adult victims of cardiac arrest, it is reasonable for rescuers to perform chest compressions at a rate of 100 to 120/min and to a depth of at least 2 inches (5 cm) for an average adult, while avoiding excessive chest compression depths (greater than 2.4 inches [6 cm]). This medical animation is used for education of medical professionals, emergency technicians and the general public about how CPR is performed. Sudden cardiac arrest presents with unconsciousness, apnea, and pulselessness. There are two protocols for CPR: Basic Life Support (BLS) for lay rescuers and professionals alike and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for medical professionals. BLS includes checking the patient's responsiveness, calling for help, performing chest compressions and rescue breaths, and, if available, the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Advanced Cardiac Life Support includes additional procedures performed by medical professionals, such as drug therapy (especially epinephrine), securing the airways (e.g., endotracheal intubation), and finding and treating reversible causes of cardiac arrest. Immediate initiation of high-quality chest compressions is the most important factor in the success of CPR. #cpr #stepstosavelife #Cardiopulmonaryresuscitation #CPRsteps #CPRmethod #CRPsteps #CPRfirstaid #Firstaid #CPRforadults #CPRforinfants #CPRforchildren #Savelife #lifesavingprocedure

Learn How To Give CPR and Save Life - By Kishor Singh #shorts Heart attack is getting more common with time. Double-tap the screen and let's learn how to provide CPR if someone collapsed around you. A sudden collapse happens during a heart attack. Your heart, which was supplying the oxygenated blood to your organs, will become unable to pump the blood anymore and the organs will start to die because of the deficiency of blood. Your heart is made to pump artificially in this situation so that your organs keep receiving blood until some medical help arrives. In order to provide CPR, both the hands of the CPR provider should be placed at the lower middle part of the chest. The press should be hard enough to push the chest by 2 inches, and this pushing process should be fast enough to provide more than 100 compressions per minute. These compressions make the heart pump and the organs start to receive the blood. If these compressions came out to be not so hard or fast enough, the body organs and especially the brain will not receive the blood and start to die within a few seconds. After 30 compressions, mouth-to-mouth breathing should be given twice, and both of these steps should be repeated until the person gets some medical help or gets normal.
